ABOUT The Project

Catamount Energy Center will repurpose former mine lands to generate reliable, affordable, local energy in West Virginia as demand for new generation continues to climb. The project is in a remote area near existing power lines, coal infrastructure, power plants, and railroads. Catamount Wind will generate enough energy to power over 73,795 West Virginia homes each year.
