OVERVIEW

Repowering West Virginia with Pinnacle Wind’s clean, reliable energy and community-enhancing opportunities, this 54 MW wind farm, located in Mineral County, has added nearly 16% more clean power for West Virginia’s energy grid compared with the original Pinnacle Wind.

Since beginning operations in 2012, Pinnacle Wind has awarded more than a half million dollars in numerous community grants through its Community Benefit Fund. It will increase Clearway’s county tax payments by up to $200,000 within the first year of repowered operations.
